একঃ আবুল সরকারের যে ভিডিও ভাইরাল সেটা সম্ভবত বিচার পালার অংশ। এই ধরনের পালাগানে দুইজন দুইপক্ষ নিয়ে কথা বলে, যুক্তি দেয়, ঠাট্টা মস্করাও করে। শেষে সবাই মেনে নেয় যার যার যুক্তি। তাই এই কথাগুলো তাঁর নিজস্ব পজিশনের নাও হতে পারে।
দুইঃ ধরে নিলাম তিনি সত‍্যি সত‍্যি বিশ্বাস করে এই কথাগুলো বলেছেন। কী বলেছেন তার সার কথা হলো-কোরান ও হাদিস অনুসারে প্রথম সৃষ্টি কী তা নিয়ে কোন একমত নাই। কোথাও আরশ প্রথমে, কোথাও পানি, কোথাও কলম, এরকম ভেদনিয়ে ইসলামি স্কলারদের মধ‍্যেও ভিন্ন ভিন্ন মত আছে। তাহলে বাউল বললে দোষ কোথায়??
তিনঃ আবুল সরকার যেভাবে যে ভাষায় বলেছে তা নিয়ে অনেকের আপত্তি। মানলাম। পালাগানে আক্রমনাত্মক ভাষায় কেউ কেউ বলে। আব্দুল সরকার বলেছে যা তা প‍্যারাফেস করলে এরকম, “ আল্লাহ একেক সময় একেক কথা বলছেন, কোনটা যে মুখ দিয়ে আর কোনটা যে গোয়া দিয়ে তা বোঝা মুশকিল”। এবার ভাষাগত দিক থেকে দেখুন। এই যে মুখ এবং পশ্চাৎদেশের কথা বলা হলো, এটা একটা উপমার মতো, বা এনালজির মতো। মূল বক্তব‍্য হলো এখানে “মুখের” কথা ভিন্ন হবে কেন? যেহেতু আল্লাহ নিরাকার তাঁর তো মুখ, পাছা, কোন অঙ্গই নাই। সেখানে তাঁর অপমান কেন হবে???
চারঃ “ধর্মানুভূতিতে আঘাত” এই শব্দবন্ধকে অস্বীকার করা উচিত সবার। লক্ষ‍্য করে দেখুন প্রতিটা বড় বড় ধর্ম নিজেরা অন‍্যের ধর্মানুভূতি কে আঘাত করে, বুড়ো আঙ্গুল দেখিয়ে নিজেরা প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। যেমন, ইহুদীরা খ্রিশ্চান দের আঘাত করেছে, আবার খ্রীস্টানরা মুসলমানদের করেছে, আবার মুসলমানেরা পেগানদের ধর্মানুভূতিতে আঘাত করেছে। তাই এটার বিরুদ্ধে অবস্থান না নিলে কোন অগ্রসর চিন্তার কথা হতে পারে না। “ধর্মানুভূতিতে আঘাত” এই ধারনাটাই স্বৈরাচারী ধারণা।
পাঁচঃ বাংলাদেশে একটা কঠোর আইন হওয়া উচিত। কথায় কথায় অন‍্যের গায়ে হাত তোলা, যা অন্য সভ‍্য দেশে এসল্ট ও ব‍্যাটারি মানে হলো জেল-যোগ‍্য অপরাধ। আপনি কিসে আহত বা নিহত হবেন তা আপনার নিজস্ব কন্ট্রোলে। বহুদিন আগে এক প্রবচনে লিখেছিলাম- জুতা আবিস্কারে যেমন মুচি বুদ্ধি দিয়েছিল যে সারা পৃথিবীর ধুলা না পরিস্কার করে নিজের পা-জোড়া চামড়া দিয়ে ঢেকে নিন। ব‍্যস। আপনার মনকে সহনশীলতার চামড়ায় ঢাকুন তাহলে আর আঘাত লাগবে না। কিন্তু অন‍্যকে মারা বা ফিজিক‍্যালি আঘাত করার অধিকার কারো নেই, শুধু অনুভূতির কারনে।
সবশেষ, কারো কথা ভাল না লাগলে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিন, গালি দিয়ে সরে যান, কিন্তু মার মার, কল্লা কাট, ফাঁসিতে ঝোলানো এইসব বর্বরতা কঠোরভাবে বন্ধ করা জরুরি। না হলে, শক্ররা যা চায়, বাংলাদেশ একটি ব‍্যর্থ জঙ্গি রাষ্ট্রে পরিনত হবে!

গত ২৪ নভেম্বর সোমবার রাত ৭টার সময় নবান্ন পার্টি হলে রূপসী চাঁদপুর ফাউন্ডেশন নিউইয়র্ক ইন্ক-এর  নির্বাচন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। নির্বাচন পরিচালনা করেন প্রধান নির্বাচন কমিশনার  হারুন ভূইয়া, নির্বাচন কমিশনার মামুন মিয়াজি ও মোঃ মোবারক হোসেন। উক্ত নির্বাচনে সভাপতি প্রার্থী ছিলেন মোট ৮জন, সাধারণ সম্পাদক প্রার্থী ছিলেন ৩জন। নির্বাচিন কমিশনারগণ সবাসরি নির্বাচনে না গিয়ে উপস্থিত সকল সাধারণ সদস্য, আজীবন সদস্য ও উপদেষ্টাদের সাথে আলাপ আলোচনা করে সভাপতি পদে বিপ্লব সাহা ও সাধারণ সম্পাদক পদে হাসান মাহমুদ সোহেলকে বিজয়ী ঘোষণা করেন।

এখানে উল্লেখ্য, সভাপতি ও সাধারণ সম্পাদক নির্বাচন করা হয়েছে এবং তারা পরবর্তিতে  পূর্ণাঙ্গ কমিটি গঠন করবেন।

যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের রাজধানী ওয়াশিংটন ডিসিতে হোয়াইট হাউসের কাছে ন্যাশনাল গার্ডের দুই সদস্যকে গুলি করা হয়েছে। এ ঘটনায় একজন সন্দেহভাজনকে আটক করা হয়েছে। স্থানীয় সময় বুধবার দুপুরে হামলার ঘটনা ঘটে।যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের কেন্দ্রীয় তদন্ত সংস্থার (এফবিআই) পরিচালক ক্যাশ প্যাটেল সাংবাদিকদের জানিয়েছেন, ওই দুই সদস্যের অবস্থা গুরুতর। এই হামলার তদন্ত কেন্দ্রীয় ও স্থানীয়ভাবে হবে। বিষয়টিকে আইন-প্রয়োগকারী কর্মকর্তাদের ওপর হামলা হিসেবে বিবেচনা করা হবে।

এর আগে ওয়েস্ট ভার্জিনিয়ার গভর্নর প্যাট্রিক মরিসি জানিয়েছিলেন, ন্যাশনাল গার্ডের আহত ওই দুই সদস্য মারা গেছেন। পরে জানা যায়, তাঁরা বেঁচে আছেন। তবে অবস্থা সংকটাপন্ন। যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের প্রেসিডেন্ট ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্প বলেছেন, সন্দেহভাজন হামলাকারীকে আটক করা হয়েছে। তিনি গুরুতরভাবে আহত অবস্থায় রয়েছেন।ওয়াশিংটন ডিসি মেট্রোপলিটন পুলিশের কর্মকর্তা জেফ্রি ক্যারল জানান, হামলাকারী একজনই। ঘটনাস্থলেই তাঁকে গুলিবিদ্ধ করা হয়েছে। তাঁকে হাসপাতালে স্থানান্তর করা হয়েছে।

হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে কার্গো শেডে আগুনের ঘটনায় গঠিত তদন্ত কমিটি আজ প্রধান উপদেষ্টা অধ্যাপক ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনূসের কাছে চূড়ান্ত প্রতিবেদন জমা দিয়েছে। তদন্ত প্রতিবেদনে বলা হয়েছে, আগুনের সূত্রপাত ছিল— বৈদ্যুতিক আর্ক এবং শর্ট সার্কিটের কারণে। এই অগ্নিকাণ্ড কোনো নাশকতা ছিল না। মঙ্গলবার রাজধানীর ফরেন সার্ভিস একাডেমিতে এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনে প্রধান উপদেষ্টার প্রেস সচিব শফিকুল আলম এসব কথা বলেন। তিনি বলেন, স্বরাষ্ট্র সচিব নাসিমুল গনি প্রধান উপদেষ্টার কাছে তদন্ত প্রতিবেদন হস্তান্তর করেন। পরে এ রিপোর্ট নিয়ে উপদেষ্টা পরিষদের বৈঠকে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা হয়।

তদন্তে দেখা গেছে, কুরিয়ার শেডের ভেতরে বিভিন্ন সংস্থার জন্য ৪৮টি ছোট লোহার খাঁচার অফিস স্থাপন করা হয়েছে। কিন্তু, সেখানে কোনো প্রাথমিক অগ্নি নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থা—যেমন ফায়ার অ্যালার্ম, স্মোক ডিটেক্টর, স্প্রিঙ্কলার বা হাইড্রান্ট ছিল না। প্রেস সচিব আরও জানান, প্রতিবেদনে উল্লেখ রয়েছে যে, কাগজ-লেপে মোড়ানো কাপড়ের রোল, রাসায়নিক পদার্থ, কম্প্রেসড পারফিউম বোতল, বডি স্প্রে, ইলেকট্রনিক্স, ব্যাটারি এবং ঔষধি কাঁচামালসহ দাহ্য সামগ্রী অগোছালোভাবে জমা ছিল। এসব পণ্য নিরাপত্তা বিধি মেনে রাখা হয়নি এবং যেকোনো সময় বড় দুর্ঘটনার আশঙ্কা ছিল।

তদন্ত কমিটি ৯৭ জন সাক্ষীর মৌখিক ও লিখিত সাক্ষ্য গ্রহণ করেছে। তাদের তথ্যমতে, সম্প্রসারিত কুরিয়ার শেডের আগুনের সূত্রপাত ছিল—বৈদ্যুতিক আর্ক এবং শর্ট সার্কিটের কারণে। তদন্তে তুরস্ক, বুয়েট, অগ্নি নিরাপত্তা বিশেষজ্ঞ এবং সিআইডি ফরেনসিক তদন্তকারীরা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রেখেছেন। শফিকুল আলম বলেন, তদন্ত কমিটি আরও প্রকাশ করেছে, ২০১৩ সাল থেকে ওই স্থানে সাতটি বড় অগ্নিকাণ্ড ঘটেছে, যার অধিকাংশই গণমাধ্যমে ব্যাপকভাবে প্রকাশিত হয়নি। এসব ঘটনার পরও সিভিল এভিয়েশন অথরিটির কাছে আগুন প্রতিরোধ ও জরুরি ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণের কোনো প্রতিষ্ঠানিক সক্ষমতা নেই।

কমিটি সুপারিশ করেছে, বিমানবন্দর রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ ও নিরাপত্তার জন্য একটি স্বতন্ত্র বিমানবন্দর পরিচালনা কর্তৃপক্ষ গঠন করা হোক, এবং সিএএবি কেবল নিয়ন্ত্রক হিসেবে কাজ করবে। এছাড়া প্রধান স্থাপনাগুলোর নিরাপত্তা মান নিশ্চিত করা, বাংলাদেশ বিমানের ভূমিকা কেবল ফ্লাইট পরিচালনায় সীমাবদ্ধ রাখা এবং গ্রাউন্ড-হ্যান্ডলিংসহ অন্যান্য কার্যক্রমের জন্য দক্ষ অপারেটর নিয়োগ করা উচিত। কমিটি বিমান সংস্থার জন্য বিশেষ শ্রেণির ফায়ার স্টেশন দ্রুততম সময়ে স্থাপন, বিপজ্জনক রাসায়নিক ও বিপজ্জনক পণ্য সম্ভারের গুদাম আন্তর্জাতিক নিরাপত্তা মান অনুসারে স্থানান্তর এবং নিলামযোগ্য পণ্যের জন্য পৃথক কাস্টমস গুদাম স্থাপনের পাশাপাশি বিমানবন্দর এপ্রোন এলাকায় কোনো ধরনের পণ্য সংরক্ষণ নিষিদ্ধ করার পরামর্শ দিয়েছে।

মঙ্গলবার (২৫ নভেম্বর) রাতে এক বার্তায় এ ঘটনায় আহতদের দ্রুত আরোগ্য কামনা করেন প্রধান উপদেষ্টা। পাশাপাশি তিনি ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত পরিবারগুলোর প্রতি আন্তরিক সমবেদনা জানিয়েছেন।
